With the mission to bring better mobility to Malaysians, Michelin has been present in Malaysia since 1967 and was available through designated distributors. In keeping with the expansion of the Malaysian market in the ‘90s, Michelin opened a representative office in 1998 which later, paved the way for the establishment of Michelin Malaysia Sdn Bhd on 1st April 2003 to further enhance Michelin’s presence and manage its expansion in the country. 

Michelin Malaysia Sdn Bhd represents the Michelin group in Malaysia and focuses on the importation, marketing, distribution and sales of Michelin tyres and services through a nationwide network of authorised distributors, including Michelin Service Centers, TYREPLUS and Michelin Truck Service Centers which are easily recognised through a standardised store-front signage. 

Michelin tyres marketed in Malaysia include those for motorcycle, passenger car/light truck, truck and bus, and earth mover equipment.
